Customers & daily work

Manage the workday from Checkout Board or Daily Agenda

Use the daily workspace available to your business and keep arrival, completion and payment separate.

Choose the workspace available to you

When enabled, Checkout Board replaces Daily Agenda and its old link opens the board for the selected date. Other accounts retain Daily Agenda. The difference is a feature rollout, not missing booking data.

Start the day

  1. Open Checkout Board or Bookings → Daily Agenda using the link available to your account.
  2. Confirm the business date before reviewing totals or customers.
  3. Check upcoming appointments, arrivals and visits still needing attention. Clear search/status filters if the list seems incomplete.
  4. Open a booking to read services, staff, time and status. Pending requests still need a decision through booking approval.

Work through visits

  1. For Checkout Board, follow recording services. Add Walk-In is for finding/creating a customer on the board, not fabricating a completed visit.
  2. For Daily Agenda, open each booking and use the status actions that match what actually happened.
  3. Reschedule or cancel the existing booking when plans change. Do not mark a cancellation as a completed visit.
  4. If the same person appears as both a booking and a check-in on Checkout Board, review and confirm the suggested link before saving.

Close the day accurately

Review unresolved rows, saved checkout records and booking statuses. Payment is handled outside Tap2Check-In; a checkout service value is not proof a card was charged. Use Reports for period summaries, and Message History for delivery outcomes.

If a visit appears twice or is missing

Check the date and filters first. Distinct visits by the same person may be separate records until a confirmed link exists. Do not save both rows as a workaround. Open the relevant details and contact support when the correct link cannot be established.
