Prepare the service list
Have service names, realistic appointment lengths, prices and the staff who can perform them ready. Confirm the business currency before entering prices.
Add or edit a service
- Open Bookings → Services. Select the add action for a new service, or open the intended service to edit it.
- Enter a clear customer-facing name. Use categories where available so customers can find related services.
- Set the full time needed for the appointment. Do not enter only hands-on time if preparation is part of the booked slot.
- Enter the price and review the currency. Check any fields controlling whether the service is active and available for online booking.
- On this first form, set Requires salon confirmation if the salon must approve customer requests. Read booking approval before enabling it.
- Select Next to open Select staff. Check the staff who can perform the service; only selected staff receive it. A service without available assigned staff may have no bookable times.
- Save and reopen the service to confirm the values were retained.
Test the customer view
- Open the public booking link and find the service.
- Choose an assigned staff member and check a future date within business and staff hours.
- For approval-required services, check that the customer understands the booking is a request awaiting the salon's decision.
If the service is missing
Check its active/online visibility, staff assignment and schedules before creating a duplicate. A staff-created booking remains scheduled even for an approval-required service. Changing a service does not mean every older booking has been rewritten; check an existing appointment before promising a change.
