Set up device and booking notifications
Use Notification Center, opt in on each device and manage SMS alerts separately.
Reviewed:
Open NotificationsButton names are shown in English and Vietnamese where useful. Your workspace language may differ from this guide.
Choose the channel you need
The bell/Notification Center holds business notifications. Device notifications, booking email/SMS settings and customer messages are separate controls. Device notifications do not use SMS Tokens.
Turn on notifications for this device
- Open Business Settings → Notifications and find On your devices.
- Select Turn on notifications from the device/browser you want to receive them on.
- Read the browser prompt and choose Allow if you want this device subscribed. On iPhone/iPad, install to the Home Screen first and open the installed app.
- Select Show me how for the instructions matching this device. If the browser blocked notifications, use its site settings; repeatedly pressing the same button will not undo a block.
- Review the device list. Repeat opt-in on another device if needed; enabling one browser does not enable every browser on the same computer.
- Remove a device you no longer use. It stays off until someone deliberately enables notifications again there.
Review business booking SMS alerts
- In Notifications, find Booking SMS alerts and the alert phone.
- Check the recipient and turn on only the alerts the business needs. Each SMS alert uses Tokens.
- Save the changes. Review SMS Tokens when relying on this channel.
- Open Booking Settings → SMS/Email separately for customer confirmation/reminder rules; they are not the device permission switch.
Read and troubleshoot
Open the bell to review unread items and the full Notification Center. A permission denial, removed device or quiet operating-system setting can prevent a push. Check each layer before turning on extra SMS. Do not create customer bookings solely to test notifications unless you intend their normal effects.
