Recover a forgotten owner password
Request recovery for the actual owner login and return to the correct business after resetting.
Reviewed:
Open password recoveryButton names are shown in English and Vietnamese where useful. Your workspace language may differ from this guide.
Identify the login account
Use the email associated with the owner's login, not an unrelated business contact address. Several businesses may share one owner account, so an account password change can affect access to all of them.
Request the reset
- Open Sign in and select Forgot password?.
- Enter the requested login email and submit the recovery request once.
- Check the inbox and spam/junk folders for that address. Read the sender and destination before opening a recovery link.
- Open the valid link and enter a new strong password on the official recovery page. Never send the password or recovery link to support.
- Return to sign-in, enter the new password and choose the correct business if prompted.
If the email does not arrive
Check spelling, mailbox access and filters. A business contact email may differ from the Firebase owner login email; ask support to identify the correct account through verification if unsure. Avoid requesting many links at once, because an older link may no longer be valid.
If the wrong person controls the account
Contact support from an authorised business contact and explain the access issue. Ownership reassignment and login email changes need a separate verification process; editing a public phone or business email is not account recovery.
Verify secure access
Confirm the business list and account details after recovery. Sign out on a shared desk device when finished. If you suspect access was compromised, tell support so the account/session impact can be reviewed rather than only changing the displayed business profile.
