Choose recipients and channel

  1. Open Marketing and choose the supported campaign/draft or Send Now workflow for the task.
  2. Select the intended audience using the available filters. Review the actual selected recipients rather than assuming the whole directory is eligible.
  3. Choose SMS or email. Marketing permission and valid contact details still apply; a prior booking is not blanket promotional consent.

Write and preview

  1. Enter the subject when required and the message. Use the editor's insertion controls for supported personalisation fields.
  2. Preview a selected recipient, including a longer name when close to the SMS length limit.
  3. For Marketing SMS, the editor enforces its 290 GSM-7-unit body limit; some characters count twice and emoji are removed. Read validation rather than counting visible characters alone.
  4. Check the complete branded/compliance-formatted SMS and estimated Tokens. The default-name baseline must fit two Tokens; only supported longer-name personalisation may extend a recipient to three.
  5. For email, check the subject, resolved customer fields and business identity before saving.

Confirm the action

Review audience, channel, final preview and the scheduled time/business timezone if scheduling. Save a draft when not ready. Select the send/schedule confirmation only when authorised to contact those customers. Do not send a sample to real recipients merely to inspect the design.

Review the result

Open the campaign details to see the saved template, sample, counts and timestamps. Use each row's Actions menu only for operations allowed by its current status. Read Message History for skips and failures; editing a template does not rewrite messages already sent or queued.
