1. What Tap2Check-In Does

Tap2Check-In provides check-in, customer engagement, review request, appointment communication, loyalty, SMS, MMS, email, posting, digital marketing, and automation services for participating businesses.

Participating businesses use Tap2Check-In to communicate with their own customers through SMS, email, and other digital channels.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information from participating businesses, customers, website visitors, and users of the Services.

Information may include:

  • name;
  • phone number;
  • email address;
  • birthday or birth month/day;
  • appointment information;
  • check-in history;
  • visit history;
  • loyalty status;
  • reward status;
  • customer preferences;
  • feedback or review responses;
  • communication preferences;
  • opt-in and opt-out records;
  • message history;
  • SMS delivery information;
  • email delivery information;
  • business name;
  • business address;
  • business contact details;
  • staff or account user information;

  • IP address;
  • page activity;

  • a customer clicks a review, feedback, offer, or booking link;
  • a participating business uploads or enters customer information;
  • a participating business configures automations;
  • a user creates or accesses an account;
  • a user contacts support;
  • a user visits our website or uses our software;
  • our systems receive delivery, opt-out, or engagement data from service providers.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • provide and operate Tap2Check-In;
  • process customer check-ins;
  • send check-in confirmations;
  • send review or feedback requests;
  • send appointment confirmations and reminders;
  • send appointment updates and cancellation notices;

  • send holiday messages;

5. SMS, Phone Numbers, and Mobile Messaging

Tap2Check-In uses phone numbers to send transactional, informational, promotional, and customer engagement text messages on behalf of participating businesses.

Messages may include:

  • check-in confirmations;
  • review requests;
  • feedback requests;
  • appointment confirmations;
  • appointment reminders;
  • appointment updates;
  • cancellation notices;
  • loyalty reminders;
  • rewards;
  • promotions;
  • appointment offers;
  • discounts;
  • birthday offers;
  • holiday messages;
  • win-back reminders;
  • other messages related to a participating business.

If you provide SMS consent, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from the participating business via Tap2Check-In, operated by Loa Keo LLC. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

You may opt out of marketing SMS at any time by following the instructions in the message, such as replying STOP where replies are supported. You may request help by replying HELP where supported or by contacting support@tap2check-in.com or 346-626-8388.

If a message is sent from a sender that does not accept replies, the message will provide another opt-out method.

6. Mobile Device Authorization

By providing a mobile phone number and consenting to receive SMS messages, you represent that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile device and phone number provided, that you are authorized to approve any applicable message or data charges, and that you are at least 18 years old or have the legal authority required to provide consent.

  • participating business;
  • consent status;
  • consent language shown;
  • date and time of consent;
  • page or form where consent was collected;
  • Terms of Service URL shown;
  • Privacy Policy URL shown;
  • IP address or device information where available;
  • opt-in source;
  • opt-out status;
  • opt-out date and time;
  • message history.

We use these records to operate the Services, comply with messaging requirements, support carrier or provider reviews, and honor customer preferences.

9. Opt-Out and Suppression

If you opt out of SMS, we may keep your phone number on a suppression list to prevent future marketing SMS.

If you opt out of email, we may keep your email address on a suppression list to prevent future marketing email.

Suppression records are used for compliance and should not be deleted unless legally required and technically appropriate.

Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we or the participating business may still send non-marketing, service-related, transactional, administrative, security, legal, or account-related messages where permitted by law.

For example, these may include appointment confirmations, cancellation notices, account notices, support responses, or legally required communications.

These service providers may process information only as needed to provide services to Tap2Check-In or the participating business.

12. Participating Businesses

When a customer interacts with a participating business through Tap2Check-In, we may share customer information with that business.

Participating businesses may use customer information to provide services, manage appointments, respond to inquiries, request reviews, send offers, and communicate with customers according to applicable law and their own policies.

13. No Sale or Sharing of Mobile Information for Third-Party Marketing

We do not sell customer phone numbers.

We do not share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for their own independent marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share mobile information with service providers, messaging providers, carriers, aggregators, and participating businesses as needed to provide Tap2Check-In services, send messages requested or authorized by the customer, comply with law, process opt-outs, and support messaging compliance.

14. Cookies, Pixels, Web Beacons, and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, custom links, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate our website and Services, keep users logged in, remember preferences, measure campaign performance, understand page activity, improve user experience, detect security issues, and evaluate SMS, email, review, booking, and marketing engagement.

Emails, landing pages, review links, booking links, and offer links may contain tracking technologies or custom links that help us and participating businesses understand whether a message was delivered, opened, clicked, or acted upon.

You may control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Services may not function properly.

15. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no uniform industry standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, Tap2Check-In does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

16. Third-Party Websites, Review Platforms, Booking Links, and Social Media

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, review platforms, booking pages, maps, social media pages, payment pages, or participating business websites. Those third parties have their own terms and privacy practices.

Tap2Check-In is not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of third-party websites or platforms.

If you interact with Tap2Check-In, Loa Keo LLC, or a participating business through social media, information you post or submit may be visible to others depending on your privacy settings and the platform's policies.

17. Business Transfers

If Loa Keo LLC or Tap2Check-In is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep information as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain consent and opt-out records, and support business operations.

Consent and opt-out records may be retained for compliance purposes even after a customer stops using the Services.

Tap2Check-In is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
