Getting Started

Getting Started With Tap2Check-In

Start here when a new business is preparing Tap2Check-In for daily work.

Open the workspace

The dashboard is the first place to check after signing in. It gives you a quick view of bookings, customers, messages, and setup items that may need attention.

Plan for about 25 minutes if your business details, services, staff list, and booking link are ready.

  1. Go to the sign-in page.
  2. Enter the owner email and password.
  3. Confirm that the correct business name appears in the workspace.
  4. Use the left navigation to open bookings, customers, services, staff, settings, and subscription tools.
Use the dashboard to confirm the business workspace is ready before changing settings or sharing links.

Follow the setup path

Use this as a simple progress checklist. Finish the items in order, then use the final checklist before sharing customer-facing links.

  1. Business Profile - confirm the public name, phone, address, and owner contact.
  2. Business Hours - set regular weekly hours and closed days.
  3. Staff Setup - add team members and confirm who can take bookings.
  4. Services Catalog - review service names, durations, prices, and categories.
  5. Alert Settings - decide who receives booking alerts.
  6. Tokens & Billing - check SMS Token balance before message-heavy work.
  7. Maps Integration - copy and test the public booking link.
  8. Go-Live Checklist - run the final customer-facing review.

Check the basic setup

Before inviting the team or sharing a booking link, review the account details that customers and staff will rely on.

  1. Open Business Profile and confirm the business name, address, public phone, and review link.
  2. Open Services Catalog and confirm that bookable services have the right duration and price.
  3. Open Staff Setup and confirm that each staff member has the right service assignments.
  4. Open Business Hours and confirm that the calendar shows the expected schedule.

Share access carefully

Only share the workspace with people who should help operate the business. Keep owner access limited to trusted managers or owners.

  1. Give staff the links they need for daily work.
  2. Test the public booking page with the Maps Integration steps before sharing it with customers.
  3. Contact support if the wrong business appears after sign-in.
